The room is named after the sturdy farmer who took over Negarden from his father, Mathias. It is a corner room with windows facing both south and west, adorned with light white lace curtains and dark blue velvet side curtains.

All rooms in the main house have been restored as close to their original state as possible. The bedrooms are located on the second floor, each with its own unique character and name. In total, Negarden 1897 can accommodate 18 overnight guests—or up to 21 if extra beds are used.
